Advertising on Your Forehead

The news today is that a web-page designer sold his forehead to a company for $37,375.00. The company, SnoreStop, gets to plaster its logo on his forehead for a month.

Ok, sounds believable in these days. But for $37,375.00??

To me, the company paid too much, just for the forehead. Now, keep in mind that SnoreStop is getting much more than just a forehead. Their getting worldwide attention through the newswires, including this website here, as a result of this novelty. So, for that matter it is worth $37,375.00.

But how much is a forehead worth?

I guess you gotta figure how many people will take the time to get close enough to read his forehead within a month's time. Let's see. I'm a website designer too, and I maybe see an average of 3 new people each day. Some days, all I see is my wife. Other days we go out and see more people. If he were me, then he'd only see about 90-100 new people in one month.

Is that worth $37,375.00?

I suppose once the hoopla has ended, foreheads won't fetch much in advertising money. Web design geeks will probably earn more money salvaging the grease they scrape from their foreheads.
